At every level, a school Director of Facilities carries immense responsibility. It is our charge to ensure that students learn in environments that are healthy, safe, and well-equipped. We accomplish this by making every effort to ensure that we remain fully informed on the policies guiding our work, that we serve as responsible stewards of limited resources against significant needs, and that the people we are fortunate to lead are empowered to perform at their highest levels.

Our chapter supports districts ranging from rural farming communities to urban city school districts. Through our collective experience, we provide members with the tools, resources, and professional network necessary to meet the challenges that arise day to day, month to month, and year to year. We offer professional development, mentorship, and a collaborative network of colleagues who are, more often than not, just a phone call away.

As the regulatory landscape continues to evolve, we closely monitor guidance from the State Education Department, the Department of Health, and other key authorities having jurisdiction. Together, we equip our members with the most up-to-date information available so they can help their districts not only meet requirements, but truly flourish.
